What is the minimal rental time?
A: One month.


What are the operating hours including public holidays?

A: Please refer to your particular storage centre page.


Can I purchase packing cartons and supplies from Rent-A-Space?

A: Yes. Please refer to Packaging Materials section.


Do you accept deliveries on my behalf?

A: Yes. Rent A Space manager will explain how this service operates.


How do I pay my storage account?

A: Rentals are paid monthly in advance by cash, cheque, credit card, or bank periodical payment or internet payment. Prepayments of over 6 months attracts an extra discount. Please enquire with Rent A Space Manager.


Do you sell insurance?

A: Yes. Insurance is available through AON Insurances Services Ltd. The rates are $2 per thousand per month.


Do I need to book ahead?

A: Yes. This is advisable to ensure you obtain the unit size you require.


Are all storage rooms the same size?

A: No. There is a very comprehensive range of sizes from locker to double garage size. Please refer  to the size calculations to assist you in determining the room size you require.


Is it a simple procedure to end the storage agreement?

A: Yes. You only need to give two weeks notice to end the agreement.


Do you have any storage and moving hints?

A: Yes. Please call any of our branches and ask for Rent A Space Helpful Hints for Moving House brochure.


How often can I visit my storage unit?

A: As often as you like during business hours. The business hours are listed on the page for your centre. In some centres we have individual door alarms providing you with 24/7 access.


How does the free truck and driver service work?

A: Our driver calls on you at the prearranged time. You load. We drive to the storage centre you have selected and you unload into your storage unit. There is a $30 booking deposit and we ask you to sign our agreement setting out the details.


Do you have 7 day 24 hour access?

A: Some of our centres have individual door alarms providing you with 24/7 access. Please check your storage centre page.


Do you have the Removalists who can help?

A: Yes. Your centre manager will be happy to help with the details.


Do you have vehicle or caravan storage available?

A: Some of our centres have indoor and outdoor storage available. Please enquire with Rent A Space manager.

Do you have free trailer use for customers?

A: Yes. Please check with your manager for times available.


Which public holidays are you open?

A: All except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday, New Years Day.


Is power available in storage area?

A: Power is not available in individual storage units because of safety concerns.
